With over 20 years' proven experience, we believe we are the absolute best window restoration company you will find,  specializing almost exclusively in the repair of double hung sliding sash windows.

Unless you enjoy spending money, it is far better for us to restore the windows you have than "your chap" condemn what he can not repair. A phone call (or e-mail) to us could save you many £1000's.

From regular townhouses  to stately homes, our standard is the same. It is not the "House" we work for  - it is the customer, so please do not hesitate to call. Even if yours is the average family home with just a window or two, we are not expensive.

If you have a window problem, but perhaps do not require our hands-on help, please contact us anyway. Our advice is free and we love to share our knowledge.

 We are not about being a large glossy company, but we are craftsmen with an unimpeachable good  reputation -  spanning three continents. Having serviced in excess of 5000 windows, many are in normal private houses and from time to time we have done repair work for The National Trust.


Our references do say something about us and our desire to produce consistently good quality work.
I believe there are many clients who would prefer to  engage a quality craftsman over a cheap rate builder. 
In almost every case, the cheap builder costs far more money in the long run than engaging someone who knows what they are doing. 

A friend of a friend thought I was too expensive at $400. She then found someone else however her "cheap" bill quickly accelerated  to $2500. I could not believe that she had wasted so much money by giving in to this guy and who replaced her repairable windows.
I have earnt respect by my sheer honesty.  My integrity has allowed me to work in some of the finest houses in some of the most beautiful locations in the world. I am willing to travel just about anywhere to conduct repairs, so don't worry if I am not local to you.  We love to travel and do so frequently -  your home is just a flight away.

Draft-Proofing.
This is by far our most popular request.  We don't just "tack" on any off the shelf draft-proof  but use a brush pile system that works well and is unseen from normal view. Many Grade 2 listed buildings have had this product installed.

As you can see from the photos, it goes on the edge of the sash and glides against the inner frame. 
The results are a sliding sash that glides with- out a struggle, no longer rattles and also helps reduce road noise.

No draft-proof system is 100% effective as the sashes need to slide to operate; however this is the best system known, and when fitted correctly,  makes a huge difference as some of our references will prove.
